Data protection policy

Elée respects and protects your personal data.

The purpose of this document is to provide you with all useful and complete information concerning the way in which the personal data of individuals are collected and processed by Elée on its website.

It, as the person responsible for the collection, processing and storage of this data, undertakes to comply with the provisions of the GDPR (Regulation (EU) No. 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of personal data).
 

Definition

"Processing of personal data" means any operation or set of operations carried out or not carried out using automated processes and applied to personal data or sets of data, such as the collection, registration, organisation, structuring, preservation, adaptation or modification, retrieval, consultation, use, communication by transmission, dissemination or any other form of provision, approximation or interconnection, limitation, erasure or destruction.
 

The principles of the Data Protection Regulation

Three conditions must be met for this legislation to apply:

  • Presence of information about a person such as Name, Address, Date of Birth, Service Number, Telephone Number, Identifier, etc.
  • Processing of this information such as collection, use, registration, etc.
  • Contained in computer files (Database, Excel,..) or paper filing cabinets

The information we collect

It complies with the obligations stemming from Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978, as amended on 6 August 2004, known as the “Data Protection and Freedoms” Law, as well as the European Data Protection Regulation.
In the forms for the collection of personal data, the user is informed whether or not the data collection is mandatory. Any refusal to provide mandatory information will make it impossible to send the request and process the request.

A - Purposes

The main purposes pursued in the context of the collection of personal data by Elée on its website can be summarized as follows:

  • to contact us by form pending a response by email or phone
  • to inform you about our news (newsletter for example)
  • to apply for recruitment
  • to register for an event or webinar
  • download a documentary resource
  • statistical monitoring of site attendance

B - Data storage time

The personal data collected on the site are only kept for the period strictly necessary in the light of the previously exposed purposes. This duration is indicated on each collection point, online form.

C - Sharing your personal data with other companies

The personal data collected on the website are exclusively reserved to Elée.
Elée reserves the right to transmit the personal data of the data subjects in order to fulfil its legal obligations, and in particular if it was forced to do so by judicial requisition.
Elée hereby undertakes not to transfer your data outside the European Union. In addition, in the event that Elée uses subcontractors, the latter were chosen for the sufficient security guarantees they offered.
 

Respect for your rights

In accordance with Articles 38 to 40-1 of the amended Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 on Data Processing, Files and Freedoms (known as the “Data Processing Law and Freedoms”), you have a right of access, rectification, deletion of data concerning you and opposition to their processing for legitimate reasons.

B - Social Networking Cookies

The Editor offers users the possibility of sharing editorial content and any type of content published on the site through social networking sites. Social network cookies are managed by the website editor of the social network. The editor of the social network concerned is likely to identify the user thanks to the share buttons, even if this button was not used when visiting our site/application. Indeed, this type of application button can allow the social network concerned to follow the navigation of a User on the Site, simply because of the activation of the User’s account on this social network (open session) on his terminal during his navigation on the site.
